I am a designer of the computer generation. Sure I'll start with a pencil for a bit, but I quickly move to the computer to continue sketching. It's a matter of editing; I could redraw something until I get just the right curve or I could just do it the first time in Illustrator. Of course, you have to remember not to let the computer do the creating... make sure the work transcends the tool... but it's an easier way for me to think on the go.
But there are times when I wish I still had the romance of a dashing pencil. Here's a reminder I think you will enjoy. |
