It's nice when your responsibilities on your day off include moving your possessions into storage. Putting together a jigsaw puzzle with your Nana, and watching movies with your mom.

Today was nice. But it makes me realize that I miss a two day weekend. There's no time to feel that you've taken a rest from a work week. There's no time to go anywhere if you need to take care of something that'll take longer than one day, especially if you have to drive somewhere. Forget that.

Now it is true that when I was actually working for professional theatres, that I never had a two day weekend, but then it was different. Everyone else had the same days off. The theatre was dark. So even if you didn't have a "full" weekend, you still had friends to hang out with.

I am lucky though that one of my days off (at least until the end of December) is Saturday. It's a common day off with my family and friends. Unfortunately though, my other day off is Thursday. Which is absolutely no good at all. What can I possibly accomplish by having Thursday off. Nothing, that's what. Except watch CSI.

This just cements further in my head that I want to be a trainer. They have a regular work week, relatively. And they get to make training videos.

Plus, that's where all of the hotties are.
