    Anonymous   effects on me

    3.2.04 -  07:42

I don't think we're living our lives in fear after certain giant terrorist incidents a few years ago, but I seem to be living my life in startle. That means that everytime some news person on tv or the radio says "This breaking news..." my adrenaline surges. It doesn't help that they like to lead with the bad stuff. "GIANT EXPLOSION!!!.... on the sun today, interested scientists."

I wonder what effects we'll see on our entire generation in the next fifty years. It's not the same, but it's like our Vietnam or Great Depression- things that change people down inside. Are we just going to be jumpy seniors and our kids will find it a bit sad that we're still living in that old, paranoid world?
