So iTunes and my iPod are frickin' incredible, however, there's something about the shuffle feature that bothers me. Not in a bad way, but in a way that makes me think that there's something in the programming that makes the shuffle "smart". It's putting together playlists with songs that relate to each other in a thematic or narrative fashion.
Now, perhaps this is only my interpretation, or perhaps it's simply some cosmic coincidence. But to a degree it's freaking me out..
Evidence A: Marvis Sease - "Candy Licker" - A song about cunnilingus to The Little Mermaid - "Kiss the Girl" - A song about Oralingus.
Evidence B: I don't remember, but it too was freaky enough that I shared the coincidence with everyone around me.
Evidence C: LIT - "Zip-Lock" - The last line is "Tell me, before you're better off without me." to The Ataris - "Your Boyfriend Sucks" - The first line is "You're better off without him."
It would be nice if this wasn't just happening to me, but to other people as well. If it is, please let me know, because it's freaking me out.
In a really cool way, but it's freaking me out nonetheless.
I'm pretty sure that State's Evidence B would not stand up in court. |
