Anonymous   aroma wasn't built in a day

I wonder if we could come up with a system of describing smells. If you think of some sound you heard, you could sit down and play with a computer until you got it right. Too bass... a bit more hollow... sort of like hitting a pipe with a pencil. I wonder if it's possible to break down all smells into lets say six different extremes, like we have with hue, saturation, and brightness to describe a color. Then we could let people get really acquainted with those and use them to describe everything else.

I always pass some air current on the street and think "that smells just like my kindergarten playground" or something. I wish I could point out those memories to someone else.
