I love the new Fountains of Wayne album. For you negative people out there who just made some sort of "psh!" sound, A: I've liked them for years, not just after hearing the new hit single, and B: Yes, they're Pop-y, but behind that is a lot of musical and lyrical talent.

One reviewer says "The characters that populate the songs on Welcome Interstate Managers cope with relationships, jobs, hangovers, and traffic jams in a way that will be instantly familiar to anyone who’s ever been in love, employed, hung over, and/or stuck in traffic."

Maybe I'll say more later. We'll see. Go to Amazon.com and listen to a clip of Mexican Wine or Bright Future in Sales.
