    Michel D   My god powers

    7.11.03 -  00:56

I love electric doors. Doors at the grocery store with the little radar eye. I love them. They make me feel like a god. I love walking up to them and opening my arms a la Moses; as if it isn't the return bounce in the radar signal that is opening the doors, but my sheer will that is opening the doors. I love pushing them open with my mind. It makes me feel something-potent. Not omnipotent, but "slightly better than mere mortal"-potent. Like Hercules or Achilles. A demi-god. It makes me feel awesomepotent. Try it. The next time that you walk up to electric doors use your mind to open them. But here's where it gets tricky. Don't stop at the doors and open your arms. You're not waiting to see the Red Sea open before you venture forth - you know that it will open as you step into it. You have faith that you will open it as you step in. You have to trust that your mind will open the doors in time. Keep walking. Don't slow down. It's all one fluid motion. Gods have no fear that they'll get smacked in the face with an electric door at the grocery store. I know that door will open in time, because I'm opening it with my mind.
