So what makes for a good date. This is a question posed more for the ladies out there (although the guys are more than welcome to throw in their input). What are some of the better dating events that you've been on. Or, what have you always thought would be a romantic date... or even just a fun date. I guess a fun date would be a better first date than a romantic date. Like cooking dinner is a romantic date. I guess I'm looking for something fun that they would do on Blind Date... (sans pop-ups)

I've got this book of "Great Date Ideas" that I've been thumbing through, but they don't seem personalized enough. For example, asking her what foods she doesn't like is a better question than what her favorite food is. See, the first leads to surprise, while the second leads to expected predictability. But, that's the delicate problem... I want to plan something that fits her like a comfy t-shirt, not a suit. But not "Dinner and a Movie"... that's a one-size-fits-all piece of pre-fabbed boredom. "Thanks for the evening of unimaginative crap." I want to plan a date tailored to [her], but not overly-so... not so boringly personal. Then it looks obsessed over.

Yeah, because that's the one thing I'm not doing right now - Obsessing...

I'm blogging from Mai's right now. My fortune says:
Time heals all wounds. Keep your chin up.
    Whatever that means...
