Well, I just ordered some checks online... this should be an adventure. I'm not sure what address my bank has on file, so I just filled one in... at least Designer Checks validates all of the information before they print the checks out, much less send them. I figured it was time to order some more. I still have check number 300 for account purposes... but I used check number 299 approximately 3 months before I graduated from my undergrad... Here's an idea how long I've had this check in the plan to order more: a.)The address on the check is my old house, that we sold off over a year ago after my parents divorced. b.)The pre-filled date area says "19"... as in the 20th century. c.)The financial institute named on the check is Boatmens First National... well, Boatmen's was taken over about 8 years ago by some other bank, who in turn was taken over by Bank of America... So pretty much, I've had this particular check for the passed ten-ish years... I don't think I have anything else that I've had that long... Well, other than my astigmatism.
