    Michel D   Dealing with it

    12.11.02 -  15:46

This makes me think of fourth grade. I remember in fourth grade we all sat around and in an effort to understand ourselves we had to relate to the rest of the class something that we didn't like about ourselves. I'm sure the point of this was to improve our self-esteem, but really it didn't. I think it made those of us with already low self-esteem feel worse, and it gave all of those with high self-esteem ammunition to pick on the rest of us more. On one hand, this seems like a good article, but on the other hand it seems like too little too late. Any kid that understands the vocabulary builders they're using is already fat and unhappy.

And really... is Clarissa explains it all still relevant television fodder for the youth of today? I'm pretty sure that the folks at The N need to do a little more research. I mean, c'mon, Melissa Joan Hart is older than I am! (and on a petty side note... that photo of her looks godawful. Is she plucking her forehead?)
