I've started blogging again... and I think I know why. Why I haven't blogged since I was at Stupid U. earning a Masters in Worthless. I haven't had a "job" since then where I sat a computer all day. Yes I have had many days when I sat at a computer all day, but not in a professional setting. I found that it's having nothing to do at a job which inspires me to write and post. It's when I have nothing to do but sit at a computer and wait for phone calls or sit at a computer and qualify children for Medicaid, or sit at a computer and wish I was asleep. It's during those moments, that I want to type... if only to pass the time and make the day go faster. If only to exercise my typing muscles, and see if I can break the 65 WPM barrier... the one-minute mile, the sound barrier, earth's gravitational field. All of these. It's kind of weird. I just type and stare around and see what else is going on, and I have something to talk about because I'm busy. Because I have something that I'm supposed to be doing. I'm not avoiding it. It's just avoiding me. Ring.
