    Michel D   Decimation

    14.1.03 -  07:14

Humans are destroying the world one birth at a time. Slowly we're becoming a more compassionate race, and it's killing us. We're questioning things such as capital punishment. We're working on the eradication of disease. We're trying to talk through our problems instead of fight them out. We're working on better methods of food production.

In short, we're doing all sorts of groovy things that are choking the planet... with us.

Capital Punishment, War, Disease, Famine: These are all things that kept our population in check. And slowly but surely we're getting rid of everything that kept us as a sustainable species.

What we need right now is a great catastrophe like a comet or a plague. Perhaps there might be a huge Norwalk Virus epidemic, and the virus will merge with Group A Streptococcus so that it devours our inner soft tissues, and then we expel it all in one bloody fatal bowel movement... kind of like Ebola, but without a cure or antiviral innoculation. Okay maybe not, that's a bit graphic.

Maybe we'll soon evolve enough that the Morlock faction of humans will come up at night and keep the Eloi faction's numbers down. And of course the Morlock faction will keep their own numbers down, because they will live underground and be clumsy and blind.
